What’s New in 2021: Golf Updates
Madden’s on Gull Lake has been a leader in Minnesota golf for 92 years, and we’re always pushing forward to get better at what we do. Here are a couple of ways Madden’s has changed and improved for the upcoming season.
ON THE COURSES
The new #15 green on Pine Beach East opened last summer, and this season may be the first time many golfers experience it. The green is now about 4 times its original size, adding 50 yards in length to hole #15 and featuring large swail in front and behind the green, a blown out bunker area left of the green and lots of movement all around.
CLUB FITTINGS
This year, Titleist and Mizuno have been added to Ping, Callaway, and Taylormade. Take advantage of the opportunity to hit an array of top of the line clubs with the industry’s best TrackMan technology while you’re visiting Madden’s this summer.
IN THE SHOPS
Madden’s carries award winning retail brands at each of the golf course pro shops. Newly added lines include Adidas, Greyson, and Swannies – a Minnesota-based clothing company.
HAVE YOU TRIED…
These activities aren’t new to Madden’s, but if you’ve never tried them, they could be new to you! From Memorial Day to Labor Day, Madden’s offers Junior Golf for kids ages 4-14 Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, Glow Ball Golf every Friday at dusk, and a Family Scramble every Thursday on The Social 9.
Madden’s also utilizes TrackMan technology for all lessons, club fittings, and practice, led by instructor Bennett Smed. Learn more about TrackMan here.
