Madden’s offers more recreational amenities than any other resort in Minnesota! Tennis & Croquet Club is home to tennis courts, bentgrass croquet and lawnbowling lawns, pickle ball, shuffleboard, horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, mountain bikes, and more. Madden’s team of recreation staff are happy to teach you how to play any of the offered activities.

The Brainerd Lakes Area is home to some of the state’s most scenic biking trails. Explore around the resort or venture a little farther away to take in the northwoods beauty. Mountain Bikes, Tandem Bikes, and Kid’s Bikes available to rent.

Easily navigate the resort’s amenities and take in the beautiful scenery. Renting a golf cart can be a fun and convenient way to explore the property and get around. Full and half day rentals available.
*You will be charged half the full rental amount if the reservation is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled reservation start time. If you do not show up for your scheduled reservation, you will be charged the full amount for your rental and your cart may not be available.

New to the sport? No worries, our friendly staff are here to give you some helpful tips to get you close to a bullseye!

Unique to Madden’s, this fun and exhilarating sport will put your reflexes and aim to the test! Our professionals will provide instruction to all skill levels (we love teaching first-timers!). Arrange your time through the Tennis & Croquet Club (shooting range is a short 2 minute drive).

9-station archery course provides a challenging and scenic adventure for archers, with targets placed at different distances and terrains throughout the wooded area. This diverse setup ensures a fun and engaging experience for both beginners and seasoned archers.

Your pass to fun! Lodging-only guests can purchase a Recreation Pass to enjoy many of Madden’s resort amenities. With the purchase of a Recreation Pass, you get access to activities and lawn games at The Tennis & Croquet Club, golf on the Social 9 (carts and clubs additional), non-motorized watercraft at the Marina, plus many scheduled activities during the summer.
