DESCRIPTION:UPDATE \nCongratulations to Tournament Champion Nate Stevens \n\nThe MGA Amateur is the state’s most prestigious amateur event and Madden’s is honored to host this year’s tournament on its championship course\, The Classic at Madden’s. This is the first time the event will take place on a Brainerd Lakes Area course. \nThe Classic at Madden’s is hosting the 122nd Minnesota State Am on July 21-23\, 2025. The 156 players in the Championship field will play 18 holes of stroke play each of the first two days. A cut will be made to the 60 lowest scoring players\, plus ties\, who will then play an additional 18 holes on the final day. \nView Full Tournament Details \n\nSpectators Welcome & Encouraged!\nMembers of the public are welcome and encouraged to come spectate! Please park at Madden’s Airport Driving Range and Madden’s will provide shuttles to The Classic. \nSee below for a timeline of each day: \nMonday & Tuesday\nTee Times 7:30-9:30am and 12:30-2:30pm off Holes #1 and #10 (full field of 156 players) \nWednesday\nTee Times 8-10am off Hole #1 and #10 (low 60 and ties) \nFood & Beverage will be available on-site at the beverage station and on-course tent. \n\nPRACTICE ROUNDS\nAvailable on The Classic any time May 2nd – July 20th \nOpen to 10am (caddie season): $140 plus caddie fee\n10am – 2pm : $115\n2pm – close: $90 \n\nFAQ’S\n\nPlayers will be playing a combination of the Tour and Black tees.\nHole locations will be determined by MGA Tournament staff and players will be given a hole location sheet during competition rounds\nCaddie Requests – caddies are available for both practice and tournament rounds. “A” Caddie is $100/round. “B” Caddie is $50/round.
