DESCRIPTION:UPDATE \nCongratulations to Tournament Champion Nate Stevens \n\nThe MGA Amateur is the state’s most prestigious amateur event and Madden’s is honored to host this year’s tournament on its championship course\, The Classic at Madden’s. This is the first time the event will take place on a Brainerd Lakes Area course. \nThe Classic at Madden’s is hosting the 122nd Minnesota State Am on July 21-23\, 2025. The 156 players in the Championship field will play 18 holes of stroke play each of the first two days. A cut will be made to the 60 lowest scoring players\, plus ties\, who will then play an additional 18 holes on the final day. \nView Full Tournament Details \n\nSpectators Welcome & Encouraged!\nMembers of the public are welcome and encouraged to come spectate! DESCRIPTION:Each golfer will be guided through a 30-minute golf ball fitting experience on the new Titleist Golf Ball Fitting App. Fittings will leverage the new Titleist Golf Ball Fitting App\, TrackMan launch monitors\, and Titleist Pro V1 RCT golf balls. Golfers will hit the following shots: half wedge\, pitching wedge\, 7-iron\, and driver utilizing Titleist Pro V1 RCT golf balls. Golfers must have their own clubs for their fitting appointment. A data-driven golf ball recommendation will be provided to the golfer at the end of the fitting experience. Recommendations will include personalized information as to why the recommended Titleist golf ball is best for the golfer. DESCRIPTION:Madden’s Junior Club Championship will be held over two rounds – Wednesday\, August 13th through Thursday\, August 14th. This is an individual stroke play competition\, with the first round on Wednesday being used to “flight” the second round of play on Thursday.  This event is open to Junior Golfers age 18 and under that are Madden’s Golf Members or in Madden’s and Chris Foley Junior Golf Programs. \nRound 1 on Wednesday will consist of a tee time start from 3:00 – 5:00pm for 9 holes of stroke play for the full field.  Players will then be separated into flights of up to 8 competitors. \nRound 2 on Thursday will consist of a tee time start from 11:30am – 1:00pm.  Championship flight (low 16 scores from Round 1) will play match play in a 16 player bracket.  All other flights will play 9 holes.  Award ceremony to follow. \nCost for this event is $25+tax/player which includes both rounds and awards. \nParents are encouraged to come out and support their juniors\, and all juniors! \nSocial 9 Division \nThere will be a Social 9 division open to any Madden’s Golf Members or any Kids ages 6-10 that are apart of Madden’s or Chris Foley Junior Golf Programs. This event will take place on Thursday\, August 14th.
