The Number 16 hole, a dogleg right par-5 (532 yards from the back and 394 from the forward tees) offers a chance for the long hitters to cut off some distance. However, Hoffmann says cutting the dogleg can be tricky because of the trees that are all along the right of the fairway. "You need to aim at the fairway bunker on the left or just to the right of it," Hoffmann says. "If you get there, you'll get a downhill kick for your ball that makes it possible to approach the green in two shots."
This hole has a large green with water in front and the green is huge. "The front left is positioned toward the approach shot, the left rear falls away," says Hoffmann. "There's a penalty to be paid if you're not on the right section of the green."
